Watchers

If you are even a vaguely active watcher of my art then I have important news, I'm doing a restructuring. Recently I have become aware of an ever increasing rift between my cartoon stuff and my fine art. My cartoons have become more and more cartoon-y and stylised whilst my fine art has become more and more abstract, and at some points conceptual, sadly the two audiences for this stuff does not crossover much, and none of my watchers benefit from being spammed with uninteresting drawings or paintings that they couldn't care less about. Because of this I have decided to split my current deviantart profile into two separate pages; I'll still be keeping this one - but I'll also be creating another one so each one can house one of the styles.

So I want to do this with the loss of as few active watchers as possible and since i seem to have a larger proportion of cartoon fans watchers at the moment (possibly just because of the nature of deviantArt) it will be this account which will be dedicated to cartoons. The account for my fine art pieces is here -> [link]

This means I'll be removing most of my Fine artwork from this page and putting it up on the new account, I hope that if you like that side of my work you will come over there and continue to watch me there, or even in both places, if you are that rare creature who happens to enjoy both my styles.

This also doesn't mean that this account is just going to be fan art or jokes, I believe that cartoons can be about serious things, and have massive potential as a serious artistic style, but it does mean that most of it will be a little less conceptually obscure or referential of highbrow material (at least at a surface level). It also doesn't mean that my work at that account will be entirely abstract or surreal if you don't like that sort of thing, there will probably be a few portrait pieces at some point and some expressive still life or landscape pieces... Probably some street art and graffitti influenced stuff too.

TL: DR?
Essentially I'm creating a new account here -> [link] which will have all of my fine art (abstract, sculptural, portraiture, etc) and dedicating this one to more cartoony stuff.

There is a simple consideration: Drawing is 1D and abstract composition is 2D in the reality of the image. You have a good understanding of composition and drawing . so why not use layers that are drawings and other that are composition abstract in the order that you can choice. I'm sure you should be great.

have a look at this piece I did, it was something of an attempt to mix the two styles together...
Also, I've moved my fine art stuff to this account; [link]
This account is going to be more cartoon based.
